Sleeping Baby Tilda - Zur Geburt

After three long weeks I can finally show you another project: a Magnolia card with the sweet "Sleeping Baby Tilda". I made it to bid farewell to one of my daugher's kindergarten teachers who takes her maternity leave.

This time, I've colored the image with Distress reinkers. The patterned paper is from the "Vintage Spring Basics" collection by Maja Design. The paper flowers are handrolled.

With the card the teacher also received a small present. For packaging it I pimped an old shipping box with wrapping paper matching the card. Had I had a little more time, I'd definitely had embellished it further. However, I was happy the glue which I used on the wrapping paper had dried when I handed the present over.

  7. This card is so precious and lovely! I actually sighed out loud when I saw it! In addition to using that adorable central image, I also really enjoyed all the little details you incorporated. The ribbon and flowers are stunning and give it such great dimension. And the use of the Stickles or glitter on that image give it such a magical feel. Amazing that you hand-rolled those flowers, too! Beautiful work and I'm sure the teacher will adore it. Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog!
