Hi there! I hope you all made it well into the new year. I've been quite lazy over the holidays and preferred to watch crafty videos by others and spend time with my family than to be crafty myself. But soon now some friends of my mother in law are turning 80 and she asked me to make some cards for her. I ended up with this little series of three cards, which are quite special to me as I didn't stamp nor color on any of them. I only used dies to create them.
Although all three cards have a different layout their design is quite homogeneous because I used the same paper and mainly the same dies to make them. That way they would even make a good gift set.
When creating these cards I was especially excited to use the wonderfully delicate floral dies by Simply Graphic, which I already purchased weeks ago, for the first time. They cut through paper likebutter and are just perfect for creating quick birthday or get well cards.
I like the first card from this set best because I just love how the frame adds depth to the design without me having to use foam tape or some other 3d adhesive. But the other cards too sure have their own charm. Would you like to tell me what your favorite is?
